Your first lessonIntroduce basic ball control, getting players comfortable with the ball and understanding proper foot placement and approach to the ball.
Lesson 2-3Introducing dribbling and coordination on and off the ball. Dribbling with awareness and passing and receiving. While still continuing the basics.
Lesson 4-10Change of pace now introduced with dribbling and passing! Aerial control can be introduced but this is player by player.
Lesson 11+As fundamentals continue to build I want to use those techniques to help carry over to game play. Attacking and defending awareness moving on and off the ball and building more confidence
Youth players
Working with kidsWhen working with younger players, I focus on building strong technical foundations while keeping every session fun and engaging. I design activities that develop skills like ball control, passing, and movement, but present them in a way that feels like play rather than pressure.
At this stage, it’s about creating a positive learning environment where kids feel confident to try new things, make mistakes, and grow. I want them to not only improve their skills but also develop a genuine love for the game while learning how to use those skills in fun, game-like situations.
