Beginner training plan
Your first lessonI will always teach the preference of what you want. However if you don’t know, or don’t have any preferences, then as a beginner, you will be taught the basics in the sport. How to control the ball, correctly pass and shoot, defending, and positioning across the pitch. You will also learn rules and positions across the pitch. We will also focus on what exercises you should do to improve your physical capabilities and on which stretches and dynamics are most important to the sport.
Lesson 11+We will improve upon all of these, and learn higher soccer IQ. Why people do the things they do on the pitch. And a more in depth understanding of positioning, motion, balance, and advanced functions on the pitch.
Lesson 4-10We will begin higher level drills, and learn more about in depth soccer. Positions, formations, more in depth rules, and where you might be most fitted to play. We will also begin to understand soccer IQ, and what should happen in certain positions and what to expect from specific tactics. We will also learn motion, balance and how to get an edge on other players you may face.
Lesson 2-3We will continue on what we have learned from the following sessions.
Youth players
Working with kidsMy main focus with kids is to teach life lessons and to promote something they can find a passion for. Soccer has taught me how to persevere, be punctual, determined, cooperation and teamwork, and most importantly, how to work hard. These would be my main focuses while implementing something they can enjoy and have fun doing.
