I start by getting to know the player, their experience level, goals, and comfort with the ball. We focus on basic warm ups, ball control, passing, and dribbling drills to build confidence and coordination. The goal is to make the first session fun, positive, and motivating while identifying areas to improve.
At this stage, players can expect advanced drills emphasizing speed, agility, and tactical understanding. Training becomes more personalized, targeting weak areas, refining technique, and preparing for real match situations. The focus is on consistency, creativity, and developing each playerβs unique style of play.
These sessions focus on improving technical ability and game awareness, including first touch, turning, accurate passing, defensive footwork, and shooting accuracy. We also introduce small sided scrimmages to develop decision making, teamwork, and confidence under game like pressure.
We build on the fundamentals by introducing controlled passing, receiving under pressure, and simple shooting drills. Players also learn positioning and movement without the ball. Each session includes feedback and short games to apply what they have learned in real time.
