Beginner training plan
Your first lessonA dynamic and full warmup to ensure no injuries and that the player is ready to use their whole body comfortably.
Simple 1 and 2 touch passing, using both feet. Gradually increasing distance, changing receiving and passing angles, and some basic movements.
Basic practice of first touch direction, understanding when and why to go a certain way.
End with basic finishing exercise
Lesson 2-3Intensity gradually increasing, and implementing more tactical teaching (catered to players position), complexity of drills will increase as the comfort with my teaching improves.
Will slowly incorporate some plyometric exercises into the lesson
Lesson 4-10Faster paced, in-game scenarios, and more complex drills that really push the growth of the player. Some more intense physical plyometric exercises (nothing crazy), that incorporate the technical work from previous lessons.
