Beginner training plan
Your first trainingThe first lesson will be where each student sets out their goals. After a brief chat we can proceed to a few drills to assess their level of play. This will inform what we tackle during our subsequent lessons.
Training 2-3Lessons 2 - 3 will be the first opportunity to build a new skill. Each student should feel that they are able to do something new following their third lesson.
Training 4-10Lessons 4 - 10 will be about building on their new skill. Once they have the confidence in new abilities, we will be able to tie skills together and build them into a more complete player.
Training 11+Now that we’ve got a good set of skills, students can start to think about a position they’d like to play on the field and work towards refining skills they’ll rely on in that position.
Advanced training plan
Your first trainingFirst lessons for advanced players will focus on the position they like to play. I’ll ask them to explain 3 weaknesses and 3 strengths. Our aim will be to make the bad good, and good great. This lesson will also allow us to form a plan for subsequent lessons. There will also be shooting.
Training 2-3We will continue work on the top three and bottom three skills.
