Beginner training plan
Your first lessonIn the first lesson I like to get an overview of what the student is good at, for goalkeepers this means handling, positioning, crosses, distribution, and shot stopping
Lesson 11+We will work on achieving maximum potential. As a former player myself, I can attest that there is always more to learn and improve on. Repetition is key, and as we continue there will be more growth in all areas, not just the areas that were most needed at the beginning
Lesson 4-10Next, we focus on making improvements across the board, with different lessons having main focuses in different areas. The instruction will move past basic levels and into more specific, advanced teaching and techniques
Lesson 2-3As we move on we begin to move towards more focused areas where the student has room for growth
Youth players
Working with kidsWith kids, the most important thing is teaching them the basics while having fun, so that the kid continues to enjoy playing the game. Fun games such as keeper wars help the kid grow while having a great time.
Working with teenagersWith teenagers, there will be much to learn and a lot of room for growth, so teaching a good base level of knowledge is where I want to start, and as the player progresses, the training will too.
