During the first soccer lesson, we’ll focus on having fun and introducing some basic skills like dribbling and passing. As we go, I’ll pay attention to where each child might need improvement so I can help them develop their skills in a way that’s enjoyable and encouraging. The goal is to build their confidence and love for the game from the very beginning!
For lesson 11 and beyond, we’ll focus on refining the skills they’ve learned and introducing more advanced techniques like ball control under pressure, accurate shooting, and strategic passing. We’ll also work on game tactics, positioning, and teamwork through more structured small-sided games and match scenarios. Each session will challenge them to grow while keeping it enjoyable, helping them gain confidence, improve their game awareness, and develop a strong love for soccer!
For lessons 4-10, we’ll focus on steady skill development and building confidence in key areas like dribbling, passing, shooting, and basic positioning. I’ll continue to address individual areas for improvement while introducing more teamwork concepts and game awareness. The kids will start practicing in small-sided games to apply their skills in real game situations, always keeping the sessions fun, engaging, and full of encouragement. By the end of these lessons, they’ll feel more comfortable on the field and excited to keep improving!
For lessons 2 and 3, we’ll build on the basics introduced in the first session, focusing more on improving dribbling, passing, and control. I’ll start identifying where each child can grow and tailor activities to help them develop in those areas. We’ll also begin introducing teamwork concepts through fun partner drills and small-sided games, always keeping the focus on learning while having fun!
