Hi my name is Edgar, 22 years old. Been playing for 15 years and still playing in the APSL. Started at FC Harlem by the age of 8 until 15. Trained under Chelsea coaches. Having my own personal goalkeeping coach, training under him for 2 years. Later went on to play at Riverdale Kingsbridge Academy MS/HS. After high school went to Bronx Community College (BCC) playing with them for 1 year until I switched over to a APSL club called Kid Super Samba FC. Been playing semi-professionally with them for 4 years. After many years of playing I realized how difficult it is to find a proper goalkeeper trainer and I would love to give back to the community in helping coach young kids who aspire to become goalkeepers.

## Reviews

> Started off nervous not knowing how it’ll go and how the coach was going to be. But upon arrival my first session, he was immediately opening and friendly. The way he explained and walked me thru the lesson plan making sure I understood how to do it. Then by the 5 or 6th lesson he taught me proper passing technique. Would definitely recommend to others who are intermediates.

> His experience and reading of the game really helps me and shows me areas I need to improve in. And the feedback he gives during drills is extremely helpful because I thought the way I’ve been doing something for the longest has been the only way but he showed me other ways that I can approach it. His experience and feedback comes a long way.
> From Mamadou, 5 out of 5

> From someone who’s new to the game he really has a lot of patience and at the same time high quality and expectations. He’s very thorough on the details of each drill. Explaining to me and asking me what’s the purpose behind the drills. Not only teaching me but making me think and aware of why we do specific set drills.

> So far only 3 sessions with coach Edgar and he’s made me feel like mistakes aren’t bad but teachable moments. First session with him was really nervous and wasn’t looking forward to it. But he was friendly and asked me some questions about how seriously I considered taking this and that no matter what, he’ll put in all the effort for me regardless of the level I want to achieve.

> Really love that he takes his time to walk me through drills. Making sure I do them properly. I needed improvement on my footwork and he’s been focusing on that and I feel amazing progress and confidence.
