Beginner training plan
Your first lessonGetting to know each other, evaluate the level of skills the trainee has, start with basic ball and movement drills like easy passes and off and on ball movements. Shooting and crossing too. We’ll start there and then go from what we have after the first lesson
Lesson 11+Apply all the things we worked before. Start with game like situations, get a deeply focused understanding of the game of soccer, understand tactics and field positioning.
Lesson 4-10Start working harder on and off the ball. Also work in conditioning and strength. Speed with and without the ball, one touch passes and ball control skills will be evaluated and worked on
Lesson 2-3Keep practicing passing and shooting, slowly adding difficulty and speed in the drills. Talk about positioning in the field. Evaluate trainee skills and identify potential field positions and work from there. Also address and identify weaknesses.
