Beginner training plan
Your first lessonBegin slow and learn how the player wants to get better. Start with basic drills and build from there.
Lesson 11+Intensity in these lessons and the expectations has raised at this point. We are still learning. Footwork and passing and shooting are included here to ramp up the drills to really test the player and keep on improving.
Lesson 4-10Really start to get an exact feel for the direction we are going to improve and start the more intense/hard drills and keep on building on what we have learned. Shooting Drills/Intense Footwork drills
Lesson 2-3Build off the basic drills and start to ramp up the intensity and speed. Footwork drills/Passing drills and ball control.
Advanced training plan
Your first lessonStart with median footwork and passing drills to see where the player is exactly at in their training. So I know to teach them exactly.
Lesson 11+Build off all of what we have learned so far to become the best player they can. Go over previous this we learned. Expectations are raised and we know where we are heading and what the end goal is for the training.
Lesson 4-10These are where the player can expect the intensity to really ramp up with the conditioning and the speed of the drills. We will work on shooting and ball control and footwork.
Lesson 2-3Ramp up the training based on the previous training session. Work on foot speed with the ball and total ball control in pressure and non pressure situations.
Youth players
Working with kidsHave fun when doing drills and have a slower drill and lesson to where they can listen and understand the expectations and learn from the ground up.
Working with teenagersTeach them at their level and have an understanding of what we want out of the lessons and make sure we know what we are working towards and training for.
