Every player begins with a Player Assessment. We’ll discuss your soccer experience, goals, and areas you’d like to improve before evaluating your technical skills, movement, coordination, and soccer IQ. This assessment establishes a baseline, identifies strengths and opportunities for growth, and allows me to develop a personalized training plan. You’ll leave with clear feedback, achievable goals, and exercises to continue improving between sessions.
Using the assessment as our foundation, we’ll focus on one or two priority areas while reinforcing strong technical fundamentals. Training may include ball mastery, dribbling, passing, receiving, first touch, shooting, defending, and the four pillars of player development. If identified as a need or goal, we may also incorporate agility, strength and conditioning, and proper body mechanics. As players gain confidence, we’ll introduce decision-making, scanning, and game-realistic challenges that help transfer skills into match situations.
As players progress, sessions become more individualized and increasingly game-realistic. Technical skills are reinforced while introducing greater speed, pressure, and tactical awareness. Training emphasizes confidence, decision-making, movement off the ball, and applying skills effectively in match situations. Progress is reviewed regularly, and the training plan evolves as the player develops.
Long-term development is guided by each player’s goals. Whether preparing for recreational soccer, club soccer, school teams, or the next level of competition, training continues to evolve through advanced technical development, position-specific training, improved soccer IQ, and performing confidently under pressure. My goal is to help every player become a more confident, well-rounded soccer player while developing a lifelong love of the game.
