About your soccer coach

I began playing soccer at just 4 years old! I traveled with my community team through my youth, and then began training at a higher level. I tallied 90 high school goals, participated in the National League in club, and was awarded First Team All-State honors. I continued on to play five years at the University of Toledo, where I was on a MAC Championship team and an NCAA tournament participant. I used much of this time to mentor players and would love to continue teaching the sport.

I’ve had the privilege of watching Anita grow up playing soccer, and she has always been one of the most passionate, dedicated, and disciplined players I’ve known. She is incredibly tenacious and never gives up, no matter the challenge. Those are qualities that have helped her succeed on the field and are excellent traits to instill in young athletes. Beyond her soccer skills and knowledge, Anita is kind, patient, and funny, making her wonderful to work with and especially great with kids. She has a natural ability to connect with young players, keep them engaged, and help them build confidence while developing their skills. Her positive attitude, strong work ethic, and genuine love for the game make her an outstanding role model.
