How it works

Beginner training plan

Your first lessonEvaluation & Foundation: The first session is a full evaluation of the player’s current abilities- including technical skills, coordination, confidence, and mindset. We focus on getting a baseline understanding of strengths and areas for growth. I also start building trust and helping the player feel comfortable, supported, and ready to grow. As we move forward each session is personalized to the player’s pace and growth rate.

Lesson 11+Mastery, Mental Strength & Transformation: At this stage and beyond, we’re refining the players strengths, challenging them to perform at a higher level consistently, and developing their soccer IQ and competitive mindset. This is where players begin to truly Play The Massive Way - thinking boldly, playing boldly and growing boldly into their potential.

Lesson 4-10Skill Development & Game Application: Now we layer in more advanced skill work and begin connecting those skills to real game situations. We introduce decision making, pressure situations, and small sided tactical awareness. Each session is personalized to the player’s pace and growth rate. The goal is to develop a smart, skillful player who feels confident and composed under pressure.

Lesson 2-3Fundamentals & Confidence: We dive into core technical fundamentals: dribbling, passing, shooting, first touch and ball control - all while reinforcing body coordination and movement. These early sessions are also focused on building confidence and comfort with the ball. Mistakes are welcome here- because they’re part of the learning process.

Advanced training plan

Your first lessonWe begin with a detailed evaluation of the athlete’s technical proficiency, positional habits, game intelligence, and overall readiness. I assess not only skill level, but mindset, decision making, and tactical discipline. We identify strengths, gaps, and areas of opportunity bases on the player’s goals (e.g., club advancement, high school varsity, college recruitment, elite performance). Each session will be customized to the player’s abilities, goals and growth.

Lesson 11+Personalized Performance Path & The Massive Way: Advanced players enter a phase of individualized performance planning. We track progress toward specific goals (e.g., team selection, showcase prep, leadership growth and more), and sessions become fully tailored to match those ambitions. Every detail is refined- from technique and athleticism to mindset and leadership. This is where we train to Play the Massive Way: thinking boldly, playing boldly, and growing boldly- on and off the field.

Lesson 4-10Mastery Under Pressure & Game Intelligence: Now we focus on decision-making speed, tactical adaptability, and performance under pressure. Training includes small-sided scenario work, high rep drills with layered complexity, and mental resilience coaching. We reinforce vision, communication, and match IQ - ensuring the player can read the game and impact it with confidence. Sessions are fast paced, competitive, intentional and customized.

Lesson 2-3Precision, Pace & Positioning: We sharpen the core technical and tactical tools needed to compete at a high level: advanced ball control, explosive first touch, high speed dribbling, passing under pressure, and accurate shooting. We also begin reinforcing game situations tied to the player’s position(s) and role on the field - including off- ball movement, defensive transitions, and tempo control. Each session is personalized to the player’s pace and growth rate. Mistakes are always welcomed because they are part of the learning process.

Youth players

Working with kidsWith younger kids, the focus is always on making learning fun, engaging, and movement based. I design sessions they feel like games - not drills - to keep their attention while still building key fundamentals like coordination, balance and basic ball skills. I use positive reinforcement, clear visuals, and simple challenges to help them gain confidence, stay motivated, and fall in love with the game. Most importantly, I meet each player where they are and help them grow at their own pace - all while laying the foundation for them to eventually Play the Massive Way.

Working with teenagersWhen working with teens, I strike a balance between challenge and support. At this stage, players are ready to deepen their technical skills, sharpen decision making, and develop their identity on the field. I tailor each session to push their game forward while creating a space where they feel seen, heard, and motivated. Whether they’re aiming for high school, club, or college level play, I help them build confidence, composure, and consistency - both in how they perform and how they carry themselves. It’s all part of the training them to Play the Massive Way - with purpose, passion and pride.
