Laura had such a welcoming presence and didn't make me feel bad about my voice at all, she made me feel way more confident. I am a beginner and I noticed an instant change in my voice, a good change. Laura also introduced me to a new part of my voice I didn't know existed so I would definitely recommend her to any one I meet.

I met Laura in the summer of 2018 while searching for a voice coach for my 12 year old daughter. My daughter was comfortable with her from the very first minute. She is eager to go to her lessons and smiling when she leaves. Laura likes to start with the basics and has an eye to identifying anything unique about her studens voice that she can encourage and refine. My daughter"s voice and confidence have grown immensely. She just performed a solo in a talent show and received rave reviews from her peers and chorus instructors. More importantly, my daughter is finding her voice and enjoying every moment of it thanks to Laura

Laura was tremendously helpful in teaching me the practical necessities and techniques in performing vocals on a regular basis. I'd never had formal voice lessons, and while I felt confident performing, I tended to blow my voice out, which limited show lengths. Laura taught me how to keep up the energy, intensity, and full vocal range, while being able to maintain stamina and intensity throughout a show. Thank you, Laura!

Maia

My 12 year old daughter took vocal lessons from Laura. She used poo music which was perfect for my daughter's age. Oftentimes my daughter picked out her music so Laura know how to engage kids. Laura's great and would highly recommend her.

Laura was beyond kind and understanding with me! I learned so much in just one short hour, and more importantly, she made the lesson so much fun! I absolutely look forward to learning more from her.

Beginner training plan

Your first lessonDuring the first lesson I explain how the lessons will be, do some vocal exercises and I let the student sing a song so I can evaluate the starting point.

Lesson 2-3We will start working on the voice with breathing and easy exercises. I will explain the theory or reasoning behind them

Lesson 4-10The practice is more stable. The student knows the dynamic of the lesson. We will apply exercises to a song.

Lesson 11+The improvement of their voices is more evident. There will be different exercises and another level of songs.

What you need to bringStudents need to bring their binder with their songs.

What I can bringThey'll use a music stand for their binder. I'll play a grand piano for the vocal exercises and accompaniment of the song.

About your singing coach

I am a music teacher, pianist, singer and songwriter. I've been teaching music for a long time (30 years!). Why? Because I love music and I love teaching. The best moments in my work are when the students realize they can sing something that they couldn't do before. I love their expressions at that moment. During my singing lessons, you can learn how to use your 'instrument' ( your voice) properly: breathing, posture, pitch, resonance, agility, vocal range, and riffs. And how to apply that to any songs you are interested in. My teaching experience includes: private lessons, private studios in Madrid (Spain) and School of Rock (Wexford, PA).
