Beginner training plan
Your first lessonI play a short series of vocal warmups to gauge your vocal range and tonality. If accessible, students may record assigned warmups to practice with until the next lesson. We will discuss music selection and what your goals are.
Lesson 11+You will have learned multiple vocal warmups, at least 2-3 songs at a performance standard, performance etiquette, and music theory, if applicable.
Lesson 4-10Practice the melody and start fine tuning the pieces to make them performance ready, if desired. We will review physical expression through the music and what standard performance etiquette is.
Lesson 2-3Breakdown the songs bit by bit to start learning the melody of their songs. If the student is unfamiliar with reading music, I can offer short explanations to learn the staff/ keys.
