Beginner training plan
Your first lessonWe will get to know each other, discuss what you would like to work on, talk about goals and events.
Lesson 4-10Progression through first piece as well as adding another as well. We want to make sure we are hitting all parts of your range!
Lesson 2-3Warming up, beginning to work on selected piece or select a piece to work on together. I will hear you sing it and determine what we need to work on.
Youth players
Working with kidsWe take things slowly. I have worked with kids and teens on several occasions. I want to be there to support them while they sing and let them know that there is no judgement. I make things fun, use adapted language that younger students will understand.
Working with teenagersDepending on teens level of singing, I will approach from an angle that will help them learn.
What you need to bringWater, any music they have (in a binder) and a positive attitude!
What I can bringI will bring my electronics as well as usually being able to provide sheet music! Depending on location, piano will be figured out.
