Beginner training plan
Your first lessonWe begin with discussing student's goals. We then break down the basics for professional singing starting with explaining t the
diaphragm and the utmost importance of proper breathing and support. We then start off with basic warm up practices centered on breathing and vowels followed by pitch exercises that include single pitch then scales practices. This is followed by applying these techniques to the preferred repertoire of the student. We break down phrases including focusing on proper diction for the appropriate style
Lesson 11+Continuing along with this concept. We discuss octave displacement and interval training when applicable.
Lesson 4-10Lessons are tailor made for the student so we review where we are and continue to apply more advanced techniques needed for the specific goals. These can include advanced diaphragm push exercises along with arpeggio practices.
Lesson 2-3We continue with more advanced techniques and practices for specific skills needed to achieve the goal intended for that time period.
What you need to bringPreferred would be a spiral music staff note book. If not, a normal lined notebook would suffice.
What I can bringMy home studio has all necessary sound reinforcement for all levels of student. For Travel lessons I can provide portable sound reinforcement if necessary. I will provide all warm ups from to week via mp3 for student's weekly practice
