Alice serves as a professor at Pasadena City College and holds a Master’s Degree in Jazz Studies from the Bob Cole Conservatory of Music. With over 10 years of experience teaching piano and voice, she brings a deep passion for both disciplines, viewing them as avenues for creativity, improvisation, and personal expression. While singing is her primary instrument, she values the importance of piano playing and integrates it into her teaching. Alice is also a music teacher and vocal mentor with the National Children’s Chorus, where she helps nurture young talent. Additionally, she teaches music at Jazz Hands For Autism. Her performance credits include singing with "Tonality," a professional choral ensemble, leading her own jazz band across California, and serving as a section leader at the First Presbyterian Church of Hollywood. She is also an active session singer, contributing to recordings for various artists. Previously, Alice served as the Director’s Assistant in the Vocal Jazz Department at CSULB - Bob Cole Conservatory of Music from 2022 to 2023. Her academic journey is marked by numerous scholarships and awards for excellence in music studies and outstanding academic and musical achievement. Fluent in English, Russian, and Belarusian, she also has a basic understanding of Ukrainian and Polish, which enriches her ability to connect with a diverse range of students and colleagues.
