Incredibly talented teacher and performer. His breadth and depth of knowledge is expansive and versatile, which is highly conducive to enhancing both the technical and artistic components of your vocalization skills. Interpersonally, he fosters a fun, flexible and laid back approach to teaching, and he provides consistent, formative feedback in a manner that is both constructive and motivating. Very fun to work with, and is sure to help you cultivate valuable skills applicable to any range of settings and contexts. Whether you are a business professional seeking to enhance your presentation skills, a musician seeking vocal guidance, an actor seeking to expand your vocal, expressive or tonal range, or an orator desiring to perfect your delivery, I strongly recommend Topher as a valuable resource to promoting your development and progression.

Iâve worked with different people in the past, and nobody has been able to help me in the way Topher has! his approach to teaching is incredible, especially if youâre a visual learner he finds ways to show you a sound should be taller or how it should be sang like and it perfectly translates in my brain. goes the extra mile and is genuinely interested in the musical projects outside the lessons. Ive had such a. great experience that ive even brought my bandmates into a few lessons each!

Topher was amazing with my daughter who took voice lessons and also SAT prep with him. He is patient , kind, charismatic , fun, professional and effective. She won several vocal competitions and placed top 20 out of 250 in an international vocal contest and landed leading roles in numerous musical theater productions. Topher is an effective and inspiring teacher that children respond to. We know many and heâs the best of the best.

I have been working with Topher for almost a year now and have tremendously grown as an artist. Topher creates a comfortable environment for you to learn and genuinely enjoy your craft. He focuses and alters the way he teaches for each of his students so that you can both enjoy and benefit from his instruction. Topher is one of the most professional people that I have worked with and will continue to work with.

He is very professional but he is also very compassionate and kind and understanding with my stage fright or fear I have of singing in front of others putting my art out there where someone could like or hate it. Scary and he made me feel so comfortable. He knows his stuff and is wonderful at explaining and making sure you understand. So excited to see my improvement after working with him for awhile.

What you need to bringYou should have at least one song prepared to sing for me. This is not an audition, just a chance to show what your voice sounds like, so try to choose something comfortable/âeasyâ. A lot of students just sing âHappy Birthdayâ in the first lesson, so if you canât pick, thatâs a great choice. You do not need to be memorized, and you donât have to sing karaoke or acappella if you arenât ready for that, itâs fine to sing along to your favorite singer, I have nice Bluetooth speakers set up in the studio to help you feel comfortable singing out.
Most importantly, bring a smile and a willingness to have fun and make some bad sounds on the path to making more good sounds.
