About your singing coach

Seasoned operatic tenor and voice have been my instrument of expression since 2015. My professional singing journey has taken me globally, gracing stages in Sicily, London, Spain, various venues in the States and now soon to be Germany. I'm thrilled to share my passion for singing and extensive knowledge as a voice teacher. Michael had a great introductory lesson which helped me understand my range, points of improvement, and good exercises to practice.
Beginner training plan
Your first lessonAfter getting introduced, I ask various questions of the student, to get an idea of where they are at technically speaking, what problems they have with singing if any, and what they are seeking in their own vocal development. Then I proceed to give them a rundown of how I usually teach lessons. Then, I start introducing them to technical concepts related to their vocal issues that we will start smoothing over and working on.
Lesson 11+Continuation of vocal studies until their minds and bodies mold to the regime of their studies.
Lesson 4-10Repetition of scales, arpeggios, coloratura, messa di voce, fioritura, register blending, mezza voce, and various other exercises to help them develop.
Lesson 2-3If we're being serious, not too much development as this is a skill that takes an incredible amount of time to develop, especially if I need to help undo previous incorrect muscle memory from them. With that being said, they will at least be more knowledgeable of how the vocal instrument is supposed to function, and will be given various exercises to help start orienting them in the right direction of vocal progress.
What you need to bringHello, typically what I require from a student is that they bring sheet music for the piece(s) that they will sing. Sometimes a lesson will consist of just warming up or working technically, in which case they do not necessarily need to bring sheet music.
What I can bringI have two pianos and a music stand.
