Youth players
Working with kids10-lesson sewing course for kids, students will learn the basics of sewing while creating a special dish towel as a gift for their parent. We’ll start by getting comfortable with the sewing machine, learning about tools and safety, and practicing simple stitches on fabric scraps. From there, students will measure and cut their own fabric, sew neat hems. Once the towel is complete, they’ll get to personalize it with decorations like fabric paint, appliqué, or simple hand-stitching.

Working with teenagers10-lesson sewing course for teens, students will learn to make their own sweat shorts from start to finish. They’ll practice essential skills with knit fabrics, including cutting, sewing seams, attaching an elastic waistband, and finishing hems. Lessons also include optional decorative touches and fit adjustments, giving each student a chance to personalize their project. By the end, they’ll have a comfortable, handmade pair of sweat shorts.

What you need to bringAs you continue and start working on your own projects, you’ll get to choose fabrics and patterns that match your style; for those, you’ll just need to purchase your own fabric and pattern pieces. My goal is to make sewing fun, relaxing, and rewarding while helping you build skills and confidence at your own pace.

What I can bringI offer personalized one-on-one sewing lessons in my fully equipped studio, designed for students of all ages—from teens to seniors—who want to learn or refine their sewing skills. Each lesson is tailored to your experience level and interests, whether you’re brand new to sewing, returning after some time away, or looking to master more advanced techniques. I provide all the essential tools and materials for class, including sewing machines, cutting tables, dress forms, irons, and basic supplies. My goal is to create a relaxed, supportive environment where you can learn at your own pace, gain confidence, and enjoy the creative process of bringing your sewing projects to life.
