Beginner training plan
Your first lessonI start by getting to know the student, learning about their goals, and identifying their current strengths and areas for improvement. I create a comfortable, encouraging environment where they can ask questions and build confidence. We work through a few activities together so I can understand their learning style and develop a personalized plan.
Lesson 2-3Students begin building foundational skills through guided practice and engaging activities tailored to their needs. We focus on strengthening reading comprehension, vocabulary, grammar, sentence structure, and organizing ideas in writing. I provide feedback and encouragement while helping students become more comfortable working independently.
Lesson 4-10Lessons focus on continued skill development, applying strategies to new material, and improving accuracy and confidence. We may practice reading passages, answering comprehension questions, developing paragraphs, and revising written work. I adjust activities based on progress and gradually encourage students to take more ownership of their learning.
Lesson 11+We continue strengthening skills while focusing on the student’s individual goals and areas that need additional practice. Lessons may include more advanced reading materials, longer writing assignments, editing, and independent application of learned strategies. I monitor progress, celebrate improvements, and update our learning plan as the student grows.
