Beginner training plan
Your first lessonFor my first lesson I get to know the student first and ask them about themselves. I’ll bring lots of different materials that they may know/not know. I’ll be taking mental notes while they read and write and further the lessons from there. In addition, I’ll take into consideration what the parents are asking from and how to get the student to feel more confident and comfortable with what they struggle with.
Lesson 2-3I’ll continue to bring materials and start to review what they have been taught previously. I’ll start to gain a better understanding of the gaps in their learning and base my lessons on different focal points.
Lesson 4-10After getting to know the student more, the lessons will be tailored to 2-4 focal points (depending on timing) and we’ll focus on closing their gaps in learning. Lessons may include workbooks, writing stories, answering comprehension questions, reading, or even fun games!
Youth players
Working with kidsI love working with kids of all ages! Getting them to feel more confident and comfortable, and also making sure they are doing better with their learning is my ultimate priority!
Working with teenagersTeenagers are so fun! They understand the real world and by giving them resources and real life examples helps them to better understand easier. Writing is a strong suit of mine and I love to help better their skills!
