About your reading and writing coach

As long as you’re comfortable not having AI write for you I am the coach you’re looking for. The first thing I do is an assessment to see where you’re at in your ability to communicate in writing. Then I will unlock skills you already possess to ease you in the comfort of being a capable and equipped writer. My expertise in tutoring started from I was a college student and I have tutored from elementary to college level students. Writing is leveraging what you already know. Let me show you how!

Beginner training plan
Your first lessonMy first lesson with a beginner is one where I talk with him to get a sense of what challenges him where writing is concerned. It is informal because I want to get as much insight as possible on how best to structure lessons to help him overcome perceived difficulties.
Lesson 2-3The second and third lessons are sample writing exercises to assess whether what I get from the informal first meeting is consistent with how the student executes the assessment. I would then provide feedback and present a plan of action to improve or enhance his writing.
Lesson 4-10A beginner’s fourth to tenth lesson and beyond would include techniques and tools drawn from being more aware and observant of things/ people they interact with daily. They will learn how best to harness them as ideas in creating dynamic and engaging writing pieces.
Lesson 11+The remaining lessons would include practicing different essay writing, giving assessment and providing feedback. This segment would also train the student to do more critical thinking, engaging their peers and others with meaningful dialog and become more aware of the written around him. These activities should create a path where his thoughts can be coherent, which translates to more ease in writing brilliant, stand-out-of -the-norm essays.

Throughout elementary school, Sharon was an excellent tutor. During the summer, she’d have me prepare for the grade ahead using textbook work paired with clear, in-depth explanation of the subject matter.
