Beginner training plan
Your first lessonWe do a skill assessment. Followed by me teaching you necessary skills that will allow you to quickly progress while learning.
Lesson 11+You’re over a 3.5 player. You have the respect of your pickleball community. Now you want to be the best player on the court. Come earn your black belt!
Lesson 4-10You’ll be ready for games at your local park at this point. Now we’re going to learn how to best utilize all of our skills by using strategy.
Lesson 2-3We’ll continue to add new skills and development the ones we’ve learned previously.
Youth players
Working with kidsI run the Youth Program at Melba Bishop.
What you need to bringPlease arrive in athletic clothes including, tennis or pickleball shoes, a hat/visor, some sunglasses and also bring water.
What I can bring I have Selkirk (The #1 Brand in Pickleball) paddles available to use if you don’t have your own paddle or would like to try out something new. Please message me prior to your lesson to coordinate.
