As a pickleball coach and instructor who plays forty hours a week, I am here for all your pickleball needs. Whether you would like to learn how to play the game, perfect your serve, or want to learn how to stop getting beat up by your friends, I am the person for the job. I utilize my private court (with lights until 10pm) that is conveniently located off the 5 in Carlsbad, but can also travel to your private court or any courts that allow public lessons. I am a Selkirk Advocate, so no equipment is necessary for you to start learning today.

Bottom line…an hour class with Zak is the equivalent to the experience of playing 50 games! Zak not only knows the nuances of the game, but he can also analyze everything you do, provide the right drills, and passionately teach you in a way that makes sense. I highly recommend Zak.

What you need to bringPlease arrive in athletic clothes including, tennis or pickleball shoes, a hat/visor, some sunglasses and also bring water.
What I can bring I have Selkirk (The #1 Brand in Pickleball) paddles available to use if you don’t have your own paddle or would like to try out something new. Please message me prior to your lesson to coordinate.
