Beginner training plan
Your first lessonOur first lesson will cover the basics of the game. This includes the serve and the dink. These are the two fundamental shots in pickleball. You cannot start a point without the serve, and you cannot play proper pickleball without understanding the importance of the dink. The grip will also we explained in detail.
Lesson 11+After the strokes have been taught thoroughly, we will have lesson plans specifically designed to what you feel you need to improve in your game. This could include dinking, top spin/back spin, third shot drop, volleying, and resetting.
Lesson 4-10To start, we will introduce groundstrokes and volleys after the basic fundamentals have been learned. Teach the forehand and backhand stroke from the baseline for situations like return of serve. Starting to play more live game situations and rallying to get used to playing pickleball as you would in a game.
Lesson 2-3Following up on the serve and dink from lesson one, we will start getting into repetition of the serve and dink in live situations. We will hone in which serve type is comfortable for you and we will continue dinking further from the net. We want to teach the game from the NVZ back.
What you need to bringPlease bring a paddle, tennis shoes, and plenty of water!
What I can bringI will provide all training equipment. This includes pickleballs, cones, hoppers, etc.
