Beginner training plan
Your first lessonFirst, we’ll do some dinking practice to identify where your skill & handling level is. From there in the first lesson we can work on hitting the ball consistently to the same place on the court, both vertically and horizontal.
Lesson 11+Once we reach the later part of your beginner pickleball training we will continue perfecting all things we have covered so far. We will also discuss & practice different grip options on the paddle during pickleball.
Lesson 4-10Moving later in your 1 on 1 pickleball training, we will focus more on moving the ball to different places on the court to gain or to maintain control of the point. We will also continue to work on your drop shots, most specifically your 3rd shot drop. We will also continue perfecting your aiming the ball on the court.
Lesson 2-3After the first lesson, we will continue building on your basic skills, basic ball placement, hitting the ball in the sweet spot on paddle. We can also work on where & when to be on the court throughout a typical point of play. We will also begin to practice serving & go over different techniques for consistent, strong serving.
