Beginner training plan
Your first lessonFUN - 100% - we can address rules, scoring, strategy at a later time. We need to feel what it is like hitting a “wiffle ball” with a paddle, soft ones, hard ones, short and long and find out how to control those… end with drill game that teaches how to build consistency and then share a little ‘homework’ 😉
Lesson 11+Advance technical skills for serve/return, hands battles, dinking, counter attacks, lobs, topspin, sidespin, etc.
Lesson 4-10Advance skills for play at NVZ (kitchen), transition area, and back court with focus on co sistecy and control. Introduce tactical concepts to help understand strategy for various situations
Lesson 2-3Share information about playing the game, basic rules, scoring, playing mini-games to reinforce key points and work on basic technical skill building
Youth players
Working with kidsIve also completed the USA Pickleball Youth Development program and was certified for teaching various age groups leveraging specific and age appropriate teaching methids
