About your pickleball coach
I started playing tennis at 11 years old. Among this sport also ping pong was my favorite. I met Pickleball 4 years ago and it seemed a natural combination between the two. Just easier to mastering. I started my path taking private lessons and advanced camps and three years ago i achieved the first PPR Level I Professional Coach Certification. Recently I achieved the Level II from PPR and then I joined IPTPA obtaining the Level I & II Professional Coach Certification. I am a VAIR Rater, a new, innovative, company which has developed an excellent system to rate players for the players. www.vairified.com I am a very patient teacher and a good listener. I enjoy to see my students to learn and to improve their skills.

I met Silvano six months ago when I wasn't even able to play tennis. I immediately fell in love with the pickable on the suggestion of some friends and I must say that Silvano made the difference. Silvano makes the difference compared to other teachers, he's able to understand the client's limits and know how to put them at ease. It's not just a game of sporting skills, but it also includes a lot of psychology and Silvano knows how to convey the right one. In September I will also send my two children, Silvano is a guarantee.
Beginner training plan
Your first lessonAs coach and player I started with Pickleball as an intermediate beginner. My past experiences with tennis and ping pong helped immensely with the learning process. Because I like to teach, every student for me is a positive challenge; meaning that I enjoy to see the progress and the growth. Teaching is a learning experience for the coach too. The first lesson is different for everyone. Some students need corrections from previous rackets sport, others need suggestions and guidance to improve their performance. I apply the I.D.E.A.S. method from IPTPA a professional association of which I have Level I & II and for whom I’m applying to become MTP Master Teaching Professional.
Lesson 11+Drill, drill, drill! 80% of the learning process is drill. The remaining 20% is games. I have many drills I can teach and the suggestions I can give to them is never stop learning, never stop drilling; with friends, participating in camps with other players. We never stop learning; our muscle memory works exactly like that. And remember, pickleball is NOT about errors, it's about intentionality. It's about belief, confidence, mental clarity, opponents' tendencies, and partnership chemistry.
Lesson 4-10Learning is a process of self discovery and progression. Students want to have a good understanding and knowledge of standard shots to help them to play with others and to challenge themselves.
Lesson 2-3The following lessons start with a brief overview and summary of the previous shots I explained. And if the student has any doubts or questions I am happy to answer and discuss. It is also important to note that a good warm up is the best way to start a training session and to avoid possible injuries. Every student wants to be able to get into games with confidence. The role of an excellent coach is to help the students to develop their skills and to improve the learning process.
Advanced training plan
Your first lessonEvery student has its own unique way to learn. The advance training program is composed of many different drills and enhanced shots. I use special training tools to stimulate students to develop their skills and to improve the game.
Lesson 11+Challenge the students with games with the coach. Skinny single. Simulated situations, tips and tricks to get out of trouble and take advantage of the unforced errors from the opponents.
Lesson 4-10Special shots. Erne volley, offensive lobs at the NVZ, ATP, FOA Fifth Over the Air.
Lesson 2-3I usually divide the lessons into two sections. Defense pickleball techniques and attack tactics.
Youth players
Working with kidsI have a special certificate released by PPR to teach youth Pickleball.
What you need to bringGood tennis or pickleball shoes. Cap, towel and plenty of water to stay hydrated.
What I can bringI usually don't provide equipment but I carry with me different paddles to test.
