Analysis and Information Dense.
In an hour, 90 min, or 2 hours, we will get to know each other's backgrounds, goals, and desired intentions moving forward as we build a relationship practicing and learning together.
We will visit each area of the court, test a little bit of game knowledge, test a little bit of body knowledge, and from there we will develop lesson plans for individual skills, team skills, and mental skills and strategies.
We can discuss how the game evolved and changes. We can challenge all your skills and creativity and we can hold events, businesses, teach you how to teach as a side hustle, and compete and travel!.
The majority of my students that continue to take lessons with me over the years believe in me, support me, enjoy learning and exploring the sport with me, and want to see different styles of hitting. I have a unique and different perspective on pickleball as a Martial Art so there's novel value to having me as a coach consistently or a coach in rotation.
I also refer and invite other coaches to my lessons that I believe may help certain students and their unique styles and body types since I am only a 5'9 male 177cm
Lessons 4-10 will depend on progress from 1 and 2 and 3.
Each lesson will always be similar to previous lessons of the same time and will always be slightly altered, difficulty adjusted to progression, and designed to be exciting with the number of people involved.
The student will have the option of individual, duo, or group lessons to focus on what they want to focus on.
If the student wants to default to my suggestion, I will default to my drill/routine of the day which changes daily and weekly repeating monthly so no skills are neglected and all skills are Sharpened, maintained, and built up upon.
Individual lessons will focus on building a routine, declaring focus and goals, building habits for movement, and a healthy warm up, exercise focus, and cool down. We will go through basic shots forms and simple options.
Group lessons of 2+ will emphasize mental skills, team movement skills, communication skills, basic set up and formation, and basic court positioning. Working together and understanding each other and ourselves will lead us to solve many problems on the court and in life.
First lesson is getting to know each other and me testing you out.
By this point, its routine day in, day out, week in week our, we know what we want to achieve and each lesson is a step closer to the desired goal faster and faster.
The sooner you absorb and perform all my knowledge and examples, the sooner I suggest you to a coach to teach you things I cannot that specialize in your style and body type.
We focus on shot selection, patterns, combinations, study, visual recognition, and building experience.
We isolate your desired areas of focus or I work your progression through the order of most important skills to develop at the level you are at and your desired play style.
