Eddie M.
Sanjay is a natural-born instructor of the game Pickleball. He has helped me transform my Pickleball game immensely. From the beginning of my Pickleball experience, he first took the time to introduce me to the game. Spending time with me and much lesser advanced players with an artistic approach to Pickleball seem easy for him. In the next stage of my Pickleball development, he is pointing out the strategical analysis of the game, to the advanced planning on how to play the game and realizing your opponent's behavior of the game. I often and selfishly call him my coach. His creativity, resourcefulness, and ability to see what may be needed in your Pickleball development through to the end really makes it distinctive and successful. I know it has in my Pickleball game. Thank you, Sanjay, for the work and advice over the past year.

Honestly, I was very surprised how Sanjay was explaining the technique to my son. On the very first lesson my son was on the court playing. Sanjay put a million dollar smile on my son's face and that made me very happy. Sanjay is easy going and works great with kids.

Sanjay gave me courage, which was a major confidence boost for myself and my ability.

Beginner training plan
Your first lessonWe'll: * go over basics, i.e., rules, etiquette, expectations, choosing right paddle, etc. * How to play safe, pickleball is most injurious sport if not properly prepared * We'll discuss, demo and hit simple shots, i.e., forehand, backhand, etc.
Lesson 11+We'll: *Advance techniques such as spins, lob, side attack, etc. * Prep for tournament * Strategies for doubles, for example shake and bake.
Lesson 4-10We'll: * Focus on strength and weakness, i.e., if backhand is poor then we'll focus working on it, or serve, whatever it may be. * Find the root cause of your strength and weakness and work on improving weakness while grow your strength with advanced techniques * Work on strategy and shot placement * Learn how to detect opponents weakness and leverage against them * Learn how to play with partner and complement each other; instead, against each other
Lesson 2-3We'll: * start working on forehand and backhand shots * learn importance and discuss dink and begin dinking * Learn concept of service and various techniques

Advanced training plan
Your first lessonWe'll * Understand goal and outcome expected from the lessons * Asses current level and set expectations * Play few games to learn players ability of physical movement as well as mental thoughts while playing
Lesson 4-10We'll: * Work on improving weakness while making strength even stronger. * Focus on doubles strategy * Learn on complementing partner strength while help in weakness
Lesson 2-3We'll * Work on finding strength and weakness in execution as well as strategy * Record each session from now on and review plays with player and discuss strengths and weaknesses

What you need to bring* Your paddle πŸ“ * Water or hydration drink like Gatorade * Open mind with ready to learn and have fun Note: Proper clothing depending upon weather. Court shoes πŸ‘Ÿ preferred.

What I can bringI will bring all equipment needed. However, if you have your own paddle then it would be good to bring that so you get used to playing with your own paddle. If you don't have one and looking to buy one I will be able to recommend based on your goal and strength of play.
