I haven’t played any racket sports prior. I found Coach Sally and began my training program. Although it wasn’t easy, but after a couple of lessons, I started to pickup the skills, footwork and technique.

Beginner training plan

Your first lessonBasic understanding of Pickleball Ground Strokes, Rules, Grips, Sensations, Footwork and Position. Practice and Play.

Lesson 2-3Reinforce the Ground Strokes, introduce Serves, and Setup of Volley.

Lesson 4-10Able to play rec games with others, know the score system well. Understand foot faults and call for out balls.

Lesson 11+Good concept of quality play, position yourself to cover your partner. Target opponents for winning points.

Youth players

Working with kidsDemocrats 1-2-3 ladder to pick up the skills.

Working with teenagersStay strong in mental and physical. Good shot selections and proper footwork.
