About your pickleball coach

Rob, hailing from Freeport, NY, embarked on his tennis journey at 11. Holding a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, he's a USPTA Elite Certified Tennis Pro and USPTA Certified Pickleball Instructor, sharing his expertise in both sports. He teaches other instructors how to teach. He created the first official pickleball courts in Ecuador at La Palma Polo Club near Quito, with plans for the Galapagos Islands in the near future that you will definitely love as well.

Beginner training plan
Your first lessonWe will understand what your goals are to create a plan to get there. We will understand footwork and begin with the first stroke, serving. Being on the court is great, but we will have homework to work on after to speed up your learning curve.
Lesson 11+We will build from the previous lessons to learn strategy and specialty shots like lobs, slice, and topspin.
Lesson 4-10We will continue to build on footwork and learn the 4th shot and dinking along with shot placement. We will continue to put it all together to understand how to play the game and learn fast.
Lesson 2-3We will work on footwork and work on the 2nd shot returns and 3rd shot, drives, and drops. These shots are a little more technical and important to learn early.

And if you simply want to reschedule your lesson, change the date and time, or adjust the number of students joining, we've got you covered there too. You can easily make these changes within 24 hours of booking, and up to 72 hours before your lesson starts.
