Randa was very patient with me as this was my first time playing pickleball. She provided a paddle and explained the game to me very well. We practiced many drills on the court and played some games with 2 other players. So much fun! I felt very comfortable with Randa as my instructor and highly recommend her. Pickleball is tons of fun! I’m already addicted after only a few lessons with Randa.

Randa really knows the game well and has taught me so much in only 4 lessons. I played tennis in high school but pickleball is more fun in my opinion. Randa knows good drills and helped me learn to control the ball better. I look forward to my next lesson with Randa.

Beginner training plan
Your first lessonFor your first lesson I will teach you the rules of the game, positions on the court, and some beginner drills. We will practice what you learn on the court.
Lesson 11+For all lessons after 10 we will continue with drills, work on serving, long drives, and play games to work on better ball control and strategic placement of the ball during games. We will continue to fine tune everything you have learned.
Lesson 4-10For your fourth lesson, we will continue practicing drills, dinking, 3rd shot drops and work on better ball control with the paddle. We will play a game towards the end of the lesson.
Lesson 2-3For your second lesson we will practice several drills and serving. I will answer questions and see how you may improve with control of the paddle. On your third lesson we will continue practicing drills and play some games with each other.
Advanced training plan
Youth players
Working with kidsI’m experienced in teaching sports to kids, I have taught volleyball, basketball and soccer to younger children. I will teach them the game of pickleball while having fun playing some games.
Working with teenagersI’m experienced in teaching sports to teens. I have a teen of my own. I know how to make the game fun and keep them interested in the game of pickleball.
What you need to bringYou can just show up to the lesson and I’ll provide everything needed. Please wear comfortable tennis shoes and a visor or hat if it’s sunny.
