Beginner training plan
Your first lessonWe'll start by getting to know your experience level, goals, and comfort on the court. We can go from rules, scoring, and equipment explanations and work our way towards fundamentals. This can include gripping the paddle, stance, serves, returns, movement, and basic strategy. We'll identify a few key focus areas and build a clear plan from there.
Lesson 2-3We'll focus on building consistency and confidence with the core skills: serves, returns, third shots, dinks, volleys, resets, and court positioning. These lessons include simple drills, live feedback, and game-like reps so you can start applying improvements right away.
Lesson 4-10We'll continue to develop your fundamentals while adding more strategy, shot selection, point construction, and doubles positioning. Lessons will become more tailored to your strengths and weaknesses, with drills designed to help you win more points and feel more comfortable in real games.
Lesson 11+At this stage, we'll refine your game based on your goals. We can focus on advanced strategy, consistency under pressure, transition zone, attacking, defending, partner communication, and match-style coaching. The goal is to level up your decision making, confidence, and overall court awareness.
