Nate Brown is an IPTPA Certified Pickleball instructor with a 5.0+ DUPR rating in men's doubles. He has taught dozens of a wide variety of ages and skill levels. Nate loves helping players to maximize their enjoyment of this wonderful sport...working on not just the physical disciplines of pickleball, but the mental game as well. In 2024, Nate was designated as the Lead Instructor for Apex Pickleball in Murfreesboro, TN. This is his home base for lessons, workshops, and special events.

The lesson with Nate was quite helpful. I especially appreciated the way he focused on improving my shot consistency and introduced some strategic positioning tips that I hadn't thought much about before. Though I still need to work on my footwork, the tailored advice really made me feel like I was making progress. Still, I look forward to more lessons where I can get even more specific feedback on my skills. If you're into pickleball and want a measured, thoughtful approach, Nate's worth trying.

Beginner training plan
Your first lessonFirst, we will talk about you and your pickleball goals. I will offer up a quick skill assessment and we will work on 2-3 key skills that move you toward your objectives.
Lesson 2-3Based on your goals, we will create a roadmap / game plan that we can use for improvement. Everyone learns in a different way and I will be able to customize to your needs.
What you need to bringAthletic clothing, water, paddle if you’ve got one.
What I can bringI’ll have a bunch of balls. Happy to have you borrow a paddle if needed!
