Beginner training plan
Your first lessonI like to explain the rules, get some drills started and learn how to break the game into smaller pieces.
Lesson 2-3We will do refresher drills, focus on areas you specifically want to improve and play A LOT.
Lesson 4-10On these lessons we will play skinny singles, work on situational game play, point sequences, and how to close a game out.
Lesson 11+These lessons will be more fine tuned toward your weakness. If you want to diagnose any pain point we can do this while playing singles or doubles. We will be coaching and playing while I target your weaknesses to strengthen them. The obstacle is the way!
Advanced training plan
Your first lessonWe will get to know each other and I will evaluate your skill level and ask what you want to work on.
Lesson 2-3We will play a series of mini games so I can asses whether or not your perceived weaknesses align with what you want to work on. Always ending the sessions with playing a lot of skinny singles or full matches.
Lesson 4-10We continue to check in on what you are working on while we aren’t in our practice sessions. I want to see your growth and your advancement. We will work on honing in your skills at the net, moving forward on offense and being smart on defense.
Lesson 11+These sessions will be guided and tailored towards what you are working on in the long term. Are you getting ready for a tournament, wanting to train a specific shot you want to learn (like a two handed backhand) or wanting to improve your DUPR score.
Youth players
Working with teenagersI will make sure we are having fun and not building bad habits. First and foremost we have to established good habits and a solid foundation while always having fun and keeping kids engaged.
What you need to bringBring your preferred tennis specific shoes, a paddle and a water bottle
What I can bringI will bring the balls, cones, extra paddles and other training devices.
