Oh, Kevin’s really good at giving immediate feedback on my shots, which I find quite helpful. Though I still have room to improve on some problem areas, I’m optimistic about focusing on those in upcoming lessons. Honestly, it’s been a pretty constructive experience so far. I’ll still work on my consistency, but overall, I feel more confident in my game. Definitely worth trying Kevin if you want targeted, thoughtful guidance.

How it works
Beginner training plan
Your first lessonLearn the proper grip and stance for Pickleball. Begin work on the basic fundamentals of the dink , drive and volleys . Learn the basic rules and scoring .
Lesson 11+Drill drill and drill . At this point you will be doing the same drills I do with my partners to prepare for leagues or tournament play . You will get a tremendous workout preparing you for competitive play .
Lesson 4-10Start to work on advanced strategies of the game such as attacks , blocks , resets and the 3rd shot drop . You will learn the key differences between Pickleball and Tennis . I specialize in switching over advanced Tennis players and competitive athletes in general.
Lesson 2-3Incorporate serves and returns. Start to stress footwork and moving forward to the No Volley Zone to hit volleys and overheads .
What you need to bringComfortable court shoes .I have paddles if you haven't purchased one yet .
What I can bringI have paddles and a net . The only thing you need is comfortable court shoes .

About your pickleball coach

Pro Pickleball Registry certified teaching pro . After a successful junior and high school Tennis career i played #1 singles for an NCAA collrge program . Former Director of Tennis at Elk River Ciuntry Club Banner Elk NC . I am a 40 years plus Tennis nerd who completely flipped to Pickleball when I discovered it during the pandemic in 21 . I have recently semi-retired and currently teach and train for Senior Pro events out of an indoor facility in Little Italy . I have taught close to 500 students and have a perfect 5 star rating on this site . My success has been due to my extreme passion to use Pickleball as a vehicle to make major life changes. Playing almost every sport growing up as well as NCAA Basketball and Tennis I have developed an uncanny talent to convert my students previous athletic experience to playing a very competent and competitive level of Pickleball almost immediately .
