Hi, I'm Kevin! I'm a 5.0 pickleball player and PPA certified instructor with 5+ years of experience in tournaments, leagues and rec play, I didn't have experience with racket sports before joining pickleball, and a key aspect of my coaching is teaching pickleball strategy + the mental side of the sport alongside technical form and shot-making. For those looking to get a feel for what my lessons look like, we'll work primarily on serving/returning serves, third shot drops + drives, dinking, volleying and strategy. I keep my lessons lighthearted- my primary pickleball tournament partner is my mom and my core passion for pickleball comes from the sport's ability to bring people of all ages and background together.

Working with Kevin has been a game-changer! I’ve been playing recreationally for a couple of years, but I was stuck in a plateau. Kevin took the time to assess my skills and then tailored the lessons to focus on areas I needed work. His approach is incredibly patient, and he breaks down complex shots in a way that makes them easier to understand. Beginner training plan
Your first lesson- explain the rules of pickleball and how to keep score
- understand students goals, what they want to accomplish in pickleball. Many students just want to be confident enough to participate in rec play- others want to become good enough to compete in tournaments. I want to understand your goals so I can help you achieve them!
- hit a bit back and forth to get an idea of your skill level to start
- working on serves + returning serves
- introduce drop shots / drives and understand what strategy will make most sense for you as a player
- touch on dinking/kitchen play

Advanced training plan
Your first lessonWe’ll assess your skill level and work together to understand what areas you want to focus on and improve. we’ll discuss your goals (learn the basics, rec play, tournaments, skill level goals) and see how we can help you meet those goals.
Lesson 4-10We’ll begin to introduce advanced strategy into the game to help you take your game to the next level. We’ll work on how to generate pop ups via speed ups out of the air + off the bounce, and angled/tight dinking
Lesson 2-3Well do some drills to work on your serve, dinking and third-shot drops. Well also work on ground strokes and court positioning as well as more intermediate pickleball strategy.
What you need to bringIf you have a paddle, great! If not, I’ll bring extras. Just let me know! Please make sure to wear court shoes and comfortable activewear.
