I’ve always been an athlete all my life, winning numerous awards and trophies in several sports that I was passionate about. Now that I am 68, with two knee replacement surgeries, I found pickleball to be a sport that I can play with my grandkids but still be super competitive when I want to be. Kevin coaches me and fine tunes me for tournament play. We would drill new shots, talk about strategies and shot selection, and mentally prepare for battle prior to tournaments.

An avid golfer for 40 years, I started pickleball casually about a year ago thinking that it would give me something to do in the evenings (we have lighted courts). It quickly became an obsession. Coach Kevin taught me the basics, then the not-so-basics, then finally the strategies and IQ of the game. I am in love. I would rank pickleball now at the same level of passion as golf for me!
