Beginner training plan
Your first lessonFirst I will ask about your background/experience with pickleball, and sports in general. You also have the chance to share why you are interested in pickleball and what you hope you learn at lessons. We will walk through rules, terminology/definitions, and play through a game slowly with explanations. Here we will be able to identify where you are at and where we will go from there! Ultimately, I want to teach you what you want to know!
Lesson 2-3Here we will start to work on forehand and backhand strokes as well as serves. We will also learn footwork, positioning, and body control. Ultimately we will get you comfortable just knowing how to play the game!
Lesson 4-10Here we will continue with more technique to build your consistency and give you control over you shots. Other shot will be added in such as dinks, volleys, drops, and drives.
Lesson 11+Once you discover you can control your shots with some consistency, then we will start to learn strategy about where to hit the ball and when!
