Beginner training plan
Your first lessonFor the first lesson, I like to introduce players to the basic rules, court layout, strokes, and gameplay. Build comfort and fun on the court. Participants with prior knowledge and experience, we will immediately jump to other types of skills to achieve their goals.
Lesson 11+Working on areas of improvement, opening the court to my learners.
Lesson 4-10At this point, we will be focusing on advance gameplay such as shot accuracy/placement, volleys, lobs, and hitting drives while keeping the ball low.
Lesson 2-3Working on refining different types of shots such as forehand, backhand, and consistent serves. Strategies/techniques to avoid ball pop ups, particularly when playing near the kitchen line. In addition, teaching the importance of court positioning and footwork.
What you need to bringBring water to stay hydrated and a paddle (only if you have one).
What I can bringI provide all the balls for drilling. In addition, paddles too if needed.
