Josh is a very good coach.He is very knowledgeable and very patient.. I am not a bad player but he is a lot better than I am. And with.A friendly And constructive voilet me know what I could have done different and my foot positioning. He will take his time and do a drill over until I feel comfortable. I like that he's not pushing to get to the next thing. Sometimes I just watch him play Other People.And I'd like because he practices what he preaches and he does most everything right. He is always willing to help anybody that asks. I get along with him.Great, and everybody else does.Also he makes me feel part of his famiy. In addition to being excellent players, they make the sessions fun with a variety of skill drills and then applying the skills in a game. What I really appreciate is their listening to the needs of each individual and personalizing the coaching so each person advances in ability.

Excellent coaching, my game has improved dramatically over a short period of time. Josh and Astrid are obviously skilled players but they both have the harder skill of coaching down pat. They watch your form carefully and find an issue that you need help with, then explain and demonstrate how you can fix it and then move on to the next piece. I highly recommend Josh and Astrid as Pickle ball coaches - they are excellent!
Beginner training plan
Your first lessonFirst we'll learn the basics of the game including rules and scoring. Will also focus on fundamental skills like grip, stance and basic strokes.
Lesson 11+Finally we'll put your skills to the test with guided gameplay, incorporating all the techniques and strategies you've learned.
Lesson 4-10Next we'll focus on improving your shot accuracy and placement while learning key strategies. We'll work on volleys, dinks, and game tactics to increase your confidence and effectiveness on the court.
Lesson 2-3Next we build on your initial skills by refining your forehand and backhand strokes, and start practicing consistent serves. We'll also introduce you to court positioning and basic footwork to enhance your gameplay.
Youth players
Working with kidsWe love coaching kids of all ages. Though it may be easier for kids over the age of 8, pickleball is easy to learn and fun for people of all ages and a great sport for grandparents and grandkids to play together.
Working with teenagersTeenagers pick up pickleball extremely fast!! They are easy to mold and can become amazing players very quickly. We love working with teenagers and highly encourage them to learn the sport at a young age.
What you need to bringYou just show up with good shoes and comfortable "work out clothes"

If you need to cancel your lesson, no worries! You can get a full refund if you cancel within 24 hours of making your booking. We want to make the process as hassle-free as possible for you.

And if you simply want to reschedule your lesson, change the date and time, or adjust the number of students joining, we've got you covered there too. You can easily make these changes within 24 hours of booking, and up to 72 hours before your lesson starts.
