Beginner training plan
Your first lessonI start by getting to know the players comfort level with the game, the racket and the basics of the pickleball. Then we'll play some simple, fun and enaging mini games designed to stretch skills and let you know what things you can start working on immediately to improve your pickleball game.
Lesson 11+Everything from before, as well as full games. We'll talk specifically about pickleball strategy, how to identify and exploit an opponents weakness. We'll also go over strategies for single, double and mixed double teams.
Lesson 4-10These lessons we'll start to really focus on expanding your shot selection and arsenal. Forehand, backhand, overhead, lobs, dinks, earnie, berts, and around the post. We'll work to improve each shot and talk about the best ways and times to utilize them.
Lesson 2-3The next few lessons we'll quickly review the first lesson to see what is remembered, and then do some more advanced mini games. Finally, we'll work together to develop a plan to continue training at home and on your own.
