Beginner training plan
Your first lessonSome basic rules of pickleball, how to move on the court, and how to orient ourselves around the ball. We will also hit the ball back and forth to gauge relative skills and starting point for future lessons. After lesson one, you will be pickleball ready!
Youth players
Working with kidsWorking with kids is all about fun, movement, and safety! I like to incorporate fun games that also teach the sport of pickleball. We will also focus on core mechanics useful for any sport, such as stance, mobility, and hand-eye coordination. Improving our pickleball skills will also be a highlight of our time!
Working with teenagersWhile fun remains at the forefront, teaching sports skills will be a huge focus. Proper mechanics will be the baseline, and from there we will drill various shots, consistency, hard work, movement, and strategic thinking.
What you need to bringProper shoes and attire, water, and paddle if you own one.
What I can bringI have plastic beginner paddles and balls.
