Beginner training plan
Your first lessonWe will begin by learning the basics of the game.
We will review the correct ready position. You will learn fore hand, backhand strokes, dinking, and the serve. We will review the rules of the game including scoring.
By the end of our first lesson you will be playing pickleball.
Lesson 11+You will be well prepared for tournament play.
Lesson 4-10We will clean up mistakes and ensure your techniques are automatic. We will continue to emphasize game strategies and cover spins,
Lesson 2-3In lessons two and three we will ensure proper technique on all of your strokes. We will work on the overhead smash, how to get to and play at the no volley zone. We will learn effective drills for different phases of the game. We will concentrate on court strategy and how to play with different partners.
What you need to bringWear Temperature appropriate clothing and court shoes if you have them (if not sneakers will be fine). Don’t forget to bring water.
Stretching prior to our lesson will help avoid injury.

lesson.
