Beginner training plan
Your first lessonTeach fundamental strokes of hitting a pickleball off a bounce and off a volley. First drill is to hit nice easy shots in the middle of court to start off hitting with control and accuracy. Next drill is to learn how to play the game of pickleball with serving, returning, and scoring. Then will implement a short game to play to get the feel of the game and understand scoring.
Lesson 11+Hopefully beginners are now moved up to the intermediate level and will start developing shot creation and finding the right times to initiate an attack on the court.
Lesson 4-10Beginners will learn how to develop a little more advanced shots to their game. In addition learning proper footwork to prepare for their next shot. Types of shots can are listed below:
- Roll Over the ball to develop top spin.
- Hit proper speed ups at the net to initiate an attacking move.
- Learn proper footwork to approach their next shot
- Hit controlling and powerful overheads.
- Volley Hands Battle Rallies

Lesson 2-3The 2nd and 3rd lesson will work on specific shots in the game Drops, Drives, and Dinks. These are the basic elements of the game that can bring a new player a step forward improving their skill quickly.
