I am a former tennis player. Jerry Schwartz took me under his advisement and explained the differences between tennis and pickleball, including the no valley zone, the kitchen and the 2-bounce rule. He also explained the underhanded serve, and the fact that you can only win a point if you or your team has served the ball. Armed with this information, within 15-20 minutes, we were enjoying a spirited game of pickleball. Mr. Schwartz is an excellent instructor and makes the game simple to understand.

I am a  tennis player and Jerry explained and showed me the major differences between the sports, including serving, the no volleying in the kitchen, and the two bounce rule. In a short while we were enjoying a game of pickleball! Jerry tells me why I want to gain and, or improve a skill before we begin working on it which helps me a lot in understanding the game.

Knowledgeable about pickleball, observant about my pickleball skills and demonstrates how I can improve my skills. Patient with his teaching and connects well with others.

Jerry explains first why we need to improve certain skills and then provides instruction.  He is very good at describing what the student needs to do to improve.

Jerry Schwarz is very knowledgeable about pickleball skills and how best to teach those skills. He has a fun personality for teaching those skills.
Shirl S
Jerry is an excellent coach.  He always takes the time to explain why we are doing something and then shows how it should be done.
