I started taking lessons from Jim back in January and I still play with him til this date. Jim is a great coach. I knew nothing about Pickelball except the fact I wanted to play. I would recommend Jim to anyone who wants to learn or improve their game.

I started taking group lessons with Jim about 8 months ago. He was the one who really taught me the basics of pickleball in the beginning and it really caught my eye. Eventually I started taking private lessons which benefited me a lot on the courts. His private lessons are geared for your pickleball level. Jim has a very calm outlook of the game and really helps to calm the frustrations. His attitude overall defines his play and is really helpful when he coaches. Especially for me because I am hard on myself when I mess up shots. I would highly recommend Jim as your coach and I will continue going to lessons with him.

I have been working with Jim Dwyer since January 2025. Prior to working with Jim, I had never picked up a pickleball paddle nor did I know any of the rules (and there are a lot of rules!)
Jim is extremely knowledgeable of all things related to pickleball. He is patient and takes the time to explain things. We began with fundamentals and we are now working on more strategic play. Jim provides no-pressure lessons and works at your pace!

I’ve been taking pickleball lessons with Coach Jim and the improvement in my game has been incredible. He has a great way of breaking down strategy and technique so it’s easy to understand and apply during play. Each lesson feels focused and fun, with drills that try to push me to the next level without being overwhelming.
I especially appreciate how Coach Jim pays attention to the details like footwork, shot selection, and court positioning which make a big difference at the intermediate level. After just a few sessions, I’m playing with more confidence, making smarter decisions, and holding my own in competitive games.
