I can’t say enough good things about Jacob Barnett! He’s so patient and really knows his stuff when it comes to pickleball. He helped me find the weak spots in my game and gave me simple, practical steps to improve.

Beginner training plan
Your first lessonIntroduction to rules and basics of gameplay. Get an idea of baseline skills. Work on dinking fundamental mechanics without the paddle. Add in paddle and practice dunks with an emphasis on smooth, controlled movements.
Lesson 11+After a firm grasp of the basics, further training will be tailored specifically to the player’s development areas. Strengthening weak areas and exploring strategies that take advantage of our strengths.
Lesson 4-10Continue working on basic fundamentals of serves, returns, drops and dinks. Add in work on 4th shot volleys and transition zone resets.
